Mental Health F.A.Q

From trouble sleeping to work stress to anxiety to depression, we all have difficulty managing our emotions at times. It’s part of being human. And addressing these issues is a vital part of what we do as a primary care practice, because your emotional well-being is essential to your overall health and wellness.

We’ve redesigned the doctor’s office experience to fit your life, put you at ease, and treat you as a whole person. We create safe and inviting spaces, ask meaningful questions, give you time to talk, and listen without judgment. Then we work with you on a plan to help you feel your best — whether you want to sleep better, feel calmer, worry less, or get a better handle on your mood — and if you’re struggling, we can help.

General Questions

Our approach

If you need help coping with a mental health condition or things going on in your life, like loneliness or stress due to a new baby or financial issues, just come to us. We’ll help you navigate your options so you can be happier and healthier. In most cases, we can treat you ourselves, but if you need a specialist, we’ll refer you to the best.

We also know that many people don’t know they need mental health help or where to get it — so we ask about your emotional well-being during your annual physical. And we know that physical and emotional issues can go hand in hand, so we look at the complete picture of your health.
